We offer a limited one-year warranty on all products, covering manufacturing defects under normal use conditions. In addition, certain models of mattresses come with an extended warranty of up to 10 years, administrated by the manufacturer. In case of any problem, you can contact us for assistance.
PRICE-MATCHING
If you buy a product from us and find an identical product advertised for sale at a lower price, anywhere in province of Quebec, we will match the advertised price by refunding you the balance. This offer is valid for 7 days from the date of your purchase. EXCHANGE AND RETURNS
Our exchange/return policy is similar to other furniture and mattress stores, which is becasue of sanitary and health and also the size of products.
If the item is still in its original packaging, a restocking fee of 35% will apply to all returns. In case the item(s) is without their original packaging, the restocking fee will be 50%.
Please keep in mind, that when you return or exchange a product we still have to pay the original credit card processing fees and the item can no longer be sold as new.
ThriftyBeaver.ca does not offer refunds, but we offer store credit or exchanges within the specified period under our return and exchange policy.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We offer free shipping for all our products as far as 50km from downtown Montreal. If you are further than that, please contact us first to get a shipping estimation before you order.
RETURN SHIPPING
Please note that shipping cost of returned products not because of defects is responsibility of the buyer. You can either return the product yourself or accept the return shipping fee. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
PRIVACY POLICY
We only ask for the information necessary to process your order and ship it to you. The information will never be used for anything else, or shared or sold to anybody else, ever. NO MEDICAL OR HEALTH CLAIMS
Allergies, discomfort, irritation and other conditions or health issues are not covered under our products warranty. FIRE
Natural and many synthetic materials, hemp, cotton, latex, etc. are combustible to varying degrees. We follow the laws and regulations in manufacturing and shipping the items but can not be with the clients throughout the lifespan of the products. It is therefore a responsibility of the clients to use care and diligence to avoid any risk of fire or combustion.
By purchasing our products the client agrees that we, and our company, can not be held responsible in any shape, form or way, for damages due to fire or other fire-related damages.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Each ThriftyBeaver.ca product comes with a 1-year limited warranty that covers any manufacturer defects, subject to the limitations described in this warranty.
This limited product Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. The product Warranty extends only to the original purchaser of our products and all warranties are not transferable. Futon must be purchased directly from ThriftyBeaver.ca. Please retain your proof of purchase.
ThriftyBeaver.ca warrants the product against material defects and workmanship for 5 days from the date your product was purchased. This covers:
Physical flaws in the foam material that causes it to crack when used normally for its intended purposes and with proper handling.
Manufacturer defects in the cover such as fabric tears, zippers that can no longer be opened or closed, and stitch unravelling.

We can verify and inspect what is visually evident, but as to the inner material and structure, we have to go with information they supply. However, we only deal with reputable factories with long history (at least 30 years).

COLOR ACCURACY DISCLAIMER
The color of shipped product may vary slightly from the catalogue swatch image you see on your monitor. This applies to all websites and monitors, not just us. This is due to many factors including quality of photo and camera used in taking photo of swatch samples, image processing, viewer's monitor age and setting, computer setting, light in the room when you view an image on your monitor, etc. To verify this please see the same color chart or product on different monitors.

Be careful with scammers.
Nobdy, not even our delivery people are supposed to contact you. Delivery is arranged through the office and for that we will provide you with date and reference number of your order, your name and address, when we contact you.
Do not open your door to strangers. Anybody else claiming to be from us, or arranging delivery is potentially a criminal. Stay safe.
Shop with confidence. We are certain nobody can beat our prices, without losing money.
If the item is still in its original packaging you can ask to exchange within 10 days of your delivery date. To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
In case of exchange not because of defect, the client is responsible for return shipping cost (or you can bring the product back to our storage facility yourself).
Also, if you prefer to do so, you can pick up your purchases from our warehouse in Montreal.
Due to the logistical problems and cost, if a client misses his or her scheduled delivery, a $50 rescheduling fee will be charged to them before the next elivery date.
Furthermore, you will never get any solicitations or annoying communications from us in future after delivery is made.
Medical or health matters should be addressed by licensed physicians. ThriftyBeaver.ca makes no medical or health claims regarding its products.
Any repair or replacement will not extend the original period of limited warranty. The product Warranty of the replaced or repaired product begins from the date of purchase of the original product.
We reserve the right to cancel any order in the event of a manifest pricing error.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act of Quebec, the merchant is not required to honor an order that results from such a manifest pricing error. The Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC) states the following:
“A merchant is not required to honor the displayed price if it is a manifest error. For example, if it is obvious that there is an error in the online price display (e.g., $0 for a product that normally costs $100), the merchant may cancel the transaction and refund the consumer.”
